Please join us Saturday, August 12 for Progress Lodge #16's 18th Annual Health & Awareness Fair. Our medical, dental, and COVID teams will be there for free screenings and consultations as well as vaccines.

We spent a good part of the week attending the 2023 Region VI Head Start Conference, where we had the chance to meet other Head Start partners from New Mexico, Texas, Oklahoma, Alabama, and Louisiana.

Summer Smiles
NDA Health Now is held their Summer Smiles event! The event included free Dental screenings and referrals, Passport to Total Health, Brush-a-Thon, Oral Health and hygiene education, Information and Resource center for grown-ups, Goody bags, prizes and Surprises!

Back to School Bash
Our Back to School Bash was an outstanding success! Over two hundred children were in attendance, and we gave away over 150 backpacks and additional school supplies! Children got to enjoy SnoBalls, hotdogs, and nachos and take pictures with the tooth fairy.

Senior Fest
The New Orleans Council on Aging's 22nd annual Senior Fest celebrating Older Americans Month was half vendor fair, half party. This event was a huge success with so many seniors stopping by our table for giveaways and to learn more about our services.

Clover Academy Mobile Visit
It was a pleasure bringing our mobile unit to Clover Academy! The children were so excited to have their teeth nice and clean! They also saw a demo and got to practice brushing a stuffed tiger's teeth.
